Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is an extremely gentle, light-touch manual therapy used to encourage the body’s self-correcting mechanisms. Craniosacral therapists are trained to ‘listen’ with their hands by gently holding the head , neck or sacrum. They are able to detect the subtle rhythms and movements of the CST system, with the intention to encourage the body to release its tensions and restore a sense of equilibrium.

Scars from recent or old surgeries or childhood falls can leave a deep and lasting impact on the body’s tissues, causing restrictions and postural imbalances which can over time lead to pain and dysfunction. This technique is gentle and should not cause any pain and can easily be incorporated into your normal treatment, if required it can also be offered as a stand alone treatment.
